Apprenticeships
The Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut e.V. (STFI) in Chemnitz trains apprentices in the professions of textile laboratory assistant, textile production mechanic, product finisher, chemical laboratoryassistant and office management assistant. The activities are interesting and varied. Regularly, our apprenticeship graduates are among the best apprentices in Saxony.
On 16 October 2019, STFI was awarded an honorary certificate for outstanding performance in dual vocational training by the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
The following flyer provides an overview of the apprenticeships offered at STFI. Due to limited training capacities at the institute, we are not able to offer training in each of the offered professions every year. The list of currently available apprenticeships can be found further down this page.
