As the world's largest fibre innovation congress, the Dornbirn GFC is an important meeting place. International speakers from industry and research present the latest innovations in the fibre and textile industry.

The “Sustainability” working group of the Composites United Network is the exchange platform for all relevant sustainability topics in the field of fiber-reinforced composites. This workshop is intended to give industry partners an initial in-depth insight into the procurement, evaluation and use of LCA data.

The CU Innovation Day "Ready to use – reuse of rCF and other recyclates in fibre-reinforced composites (FRP)" will focus on economic, regulatory and technical aspects of the use of recycled reinforcing fibres and their application.

The seventh event in the series will take place on 26 September 2024 and will present different perspectives from research and industry on the innovative manufacturing process and its applications.

The regions of Aachen, Dresden and Denkendorf form a triangle for textile research and innovation. The locations jointly organise the Aachen-Dresden-Denkendorf International Textile Conference, which is one of the most important textile conferences in Europe with regularly more than 600 participants from industry and academic research.
