The training seminar for the nonwovens manufacturing and processing industry, the textile machinery industry and other interested companies will also be held at STFI in the autumn. The seminar will provide an overview of the specialised field of nonwovens.

The Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut e.V. offers various modules of courses for qualification or further training. Depending on the scope and content, these are held as compact or intensive courses.

This year's event will again showcase innovative developments in the nonwovens sector, with 22 presentations from the fields of industry, operational practice and research and development.

This LabTour will demonstrate the realisation of elements such as print patterns, textile structures, coatings or 3D applications using additive manufacturing technologies and laser systems for the defined modification of local surface properties.

The regions of Aachen, Dresden and Denkendorf form a triangle for textile research and innovation. The locations jointly organise the Aachen-Dresden-Denkendorf International Textile Conference, which is one of the most important textile conferences in Europe with regularly more than 600 participants from industry and academic research.
