Customised design of textiles for atopic dermatitis

To date, clothing for atopic dermatitis has only been available in standard sizes, without any adaptation to individual body measurements or specific skin requirements. Yet customer interest in personalised, well-fitting textiles for atopic dermatitis is growing. However, bringing this to fruition requires customer-specific planning of functionalised textiles and garment designs. Manufacturers are seeking to bridge the gap between customer requirements and data processing for production preparation through configuration. The STFI is now presenting such a model for targeted atopic dermatitis applications, which involves the product development and configuration of these specialised textiles.
