We develop technical textiles for the sports, health and lifestyle sectors, climate protection and the environment, agriculture and geotechnics, protective equipment, and numerous industrial applications. Innovative woven and knitted fabrics play a major role in this, with properties tailored to the specific application. In addition, we design machinery and equipment for textile handling, manufacturing and testing.

We have an extensive range of machinery and expertise in the processing of technical fibres and yarns made from novel natural materials as well as carbon, basalt and aramid. Our expertise lies in the textile integration of functional materials such as wires, tubes, hollow filaments and conductive structures. A key focus is the development of smart technical textiles. With a focus on sustainability, we are working on high-performance fibre composites made from renewable raw materials and textile technology solutions for greening cities and infrastructure.
