Symposium

ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING in the textile industry

Additive manufacturing is already used in many industries – including the textile industry. The use of this technology is the basis for the development of new innovative products and allows the scope for individual design up to the functionalisation of textiles by means of 3D printing. After the great success of the last few years, the fifth event in the series will take place on 17 November 2022 and will present different perspectives on the innovative manufacturing method and its applications from the fields of research and industry.

In addition to selected lectures by 3D printer manufacturers and companies that are already working with additive manufacturing processes, you can also expect an exciting tour of KARL MAYER with the first live demonstration of the inline 3D printer for roll-to-roll processing.

The ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING symposium in the textile industry is a cooperation between KARL MAYER, the TITV Greiz and the STFI Chemnitz.
