ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING in the textile industry
ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING is already used in many industries – including the textile industry. The use of this technology is the basis for the development of new innovative products and allows the scope for individual design up to the functionalization of textiles by means of 3D printing. On November 8, 2023, the sixth event in this series took place and presented different perspectives on the innovative manufacturing method and its applications from the fields of research and industry.
In addition to selected presentations by 3D printer manufacturers and companies already working with additive manufacturing processes, the symposium was accompanied by a trade exhibition for the first time.
The ADDITIVE MANUFACTURE symposium in the textile industry is a cooperation between KARL MAYER, TITV Greiz and STFI Chemnitz.
