Our main areas of expertise are nonwovens, textile recycling, technical textiles, textile lightweight engineering and construction, functionalisation and digitalisation as well as testing and certification. We would like to share our knowledge with you. Our extensive programme contains topics that might be of interest to your company. Collaborative Training

All modules are offered as basic and advanced programme or completely individually tailored to your needs in terms of time and content.

We want to inspire people for textiles! Therefore, we offer courses at educational institutions on-site as well as internships at our institute.
Textile-Info for schools
In a double lesson, we supply you with information on our "Textile World", the apprenticeship professions of textile laboratory assistant, textile production mechanic, product finisher and chemical laboratory assistant, as well as opportunities for possible qualifications. This offer is especially suited for schools with 9th and 10th grade graduates and teachers at vocational schools, as well as employees of textile companies or interested parties. The project is suitable as team building or company event.
Internship at STFI
We currently offer two internship opportunities at our institute – the backpack and the digitalisation project. Furthermore, it is possible to send us an enquiry regarding a customised internship.
