On 16 October 2019 the second user committee meeting took place at the STFI. The industrial partners discussed about current project results and further steps.

Within the project,  STFI developed a nonwoven based on basalt fibre offcuts with a mass per unit area of 200 gsm by using the carding process combined with needle-punching.

The STFI and IVW invited industrial partners to the 1^st User Committee meeting on the 22^nd January 2019.
