For the first time, the company Rucks Maschinenbau GmbH, Glauchau, and the STFI are presenting themselves on a joint exhibition stand. The results of the long-standing cooperation will be presented at the Automotive Lightweight Technology Expo in Tokyo (Japan) from 25 - 27 January 2023. Rucks will present its extensive engineering projects in the field of press construction for the production of fibre composites, which now has a tradition of almost 180 years. The STFI will present the R&D results of the last few years with a focus on textile lightweight engineering and the return of recyclates to the materials chain. One focus of the joint work is the continuous production of thermoplastic FRP semi-finished products using the interval hot pressing process.
