The STFI – Facts and Figures
The Sächsische Textilforschungsinstituts e.V. (STFI) consists of the four research departments Nonwovens, Woven and Knitted Goods, Functionalisation I Composites, Digitisation as well as the service areas Accredited Testing Laboratory, Test Method Development, Certification Department for Protective Textiles and Certification Body for Geosynthetics.
International Cooperation I Transfer I Communication interacts together with all other departments within STFI research and services.
The Executive Director of the STFI is Dr. Heike Illing-Günther.
