The project investigated the possibility of modifying the previous steps in joint production in rail track construction, making up reinforced joints in advance and thus shortening the construction time. The development and testing of textile anchor elements – which are integrated into the joint on one side and form a bond with the asphalt surface during installation – was the task of the STFI.
