Teaching
STFI employees give lecture series or individual guest lectures on different focal points at various universities. The topics range from technical textiles to nonwovens, recycling to functional surfaces and PPE in laser protection.

In addition, two STFI employees give seminars as part of the preparatory course for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce examination "Geprüfter Industriemeister Textilwirtschaft" (certified industrial foreman in the textile industry) at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Chemnitz, Plauen regional chamber: Jens Stopp on the subject of knitted fabrics and Marcel Hofmann on the subject of nonwovens and nonwoven composites.
